My name is Kaylee Bain and I am a senior at Blue Valley West. I took Photo 2 this year because photography has always interested me. The last time I took photography at school was my sophomore year so I was a little behind everyone else who had took the class last year. That never stopped me from doing the best I could. I love photography because it captures a moment and you can manipulate the image to suit your tastes. Personally, I prefer photographing landscape, nature, and architecture because those are the most pure. Landscapes and nature are pure and beautiful while architecture usually holds a history. When taking pictures of architecture, I am drawn to the rundown, historic buildings because of the history involved in that one picture that captures many historical moments. Luckily I was able to travel to Berlin, Germany and was able to capture architecture from all around, from palaces to graffiti.
